Big Grill Catering was developed in the fall of 2003 by Kevin and Naomi Finch. Based on the 100 mile diet and the local eating movement, Kevin and Naomi wanted to show case farmers located within 100 miles of York Region, Ontario. Allowing you to live the 100mile experience, without spending your valuable time outsourcing food product.

Kevin Finch is the 100 mile chef!!  In addition to being an award winning papered chef, Kevin is also a second generation farmer whose family has operated one of Ontario’s premier apple orchards since the late 1980’s, Finch Haven Orchards. Through Kevin’s work in the culinary industry, selling his families products in many local farmers markets, as well as his family’s 20 year relationship with many local farmers and food producers, Big Grill Catering is able to bring you the freshest and most local culinary experience you will ever have! Kevin is currently working on his first cook book based on the 100 mile diet, as well as creating a full line of frozen and prepared 100 mile dinners!
